SAFETY PRECAUTIONS This fountain is for outdoor use only. Do not place your fountain in a location where water spills or splashing will reach any electrical equipment or cause damage. Choose an appropriate location before installing the fountain. DO NOT lift, push or drag the water basin to relocate the fountain when it’s filled with water. Empty the water basin before lifting. Excessive weight or pressure on any of the fountain sections may cause it to tip or fall over. Keep pets and children away from any of the fountain sections. Some splashing may occur. To avoid injury from electrical shock, observe basic safety precautions and comply with the following instructions: The pump on your fountain has no user serviceable parts.

Only an authorized service representative should

service the pump. Do not open the sealed pump housing as this may result in electrical shock. Refer to enclosed pump maintenance guide for cleaning. 1. Install the fountain pump correctly before operating it. 2. DO NOT allow the pump to run dry. 3. An adult should supervise children when they are around the pump. 4. Use the proper power source as indicated on the pump label. 5. Equip the electrical power for the pump with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). 6. If the entire fountain falls into the water accidentally, turn off the circuit breaker immediately. 7. If any leakage occurs around the pump housing, turn off the circuit breaker immediately and have the pump serviced by a registered technician. 8. Do not operate the fountain if the pump has been dropped or has a damaged power cord or plug. 9. If the plug or your wall receptacle gets wet due to water dripping down the power cord or for any other reason, do not remove the plug from the wall outlet until the circuit breaker is turned off. NOTE: Allow the pump power cord to hang at a lower level than the wall outlet to

DRIP LOOP

form a “drip loop”. This will help prevent water from dripping down the power cord and getting into the wall outlet. 10. Always unplug the fountain pump and any other independent electrical accessories from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning or replacing parts. 11. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet by holding the plug, not by pulling on the power cord. 12. Periodically change the water. Clean the fountain water basin, the pump’s outlet nozzle and PVC plastic tube for dirt and debris with a damp cloth if necessary. 13. If the fountain is not going to be used for a long period time, remove the plug from the power supply outlet. 14. Do not expose the pump to direct sunlight or to low temperatures for any period of time. 15. Keep the power cord away from high temperatures or heat sources. 16. Use only a UL-approved extension cord of the correct rating to avoid overheating. 3

17. Do not use attachments that are not provided by the manufacturer because they may cause unsafe conditions. 18. Do not use the pump for anything other than its intended use. 19. This fountain pump is not intended for commercial use.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Remove the product from the box; place the base (F) on a level surface Step 2: Connect groove tray between base (F) and bottom basin (E), make their black arrowhead mark in the same position, and then turn them properly tight; pay attention to have power cord pass through the outlet hole. Step 3: Connect groove tray between bottom basin (E) and middle pole (B), make their black arrowhead mark in the same position, and then turn them properly tight. Step 4: Connect groove tray between middle pole (B) and top portion (A), make their black arrowhead mark in the same position, and then turn them properly tight. Pay attention to pass through PVC plastic tube from the middle of groove tray for each tier. Step 5: Connect PVC plastic tube to the outlet nozzle of pump (D), put the pump (D) inside the bottom basin smoothly. Step 6: Attach the cover plate (C). Step 7: Fill bottom basin (E) with water. Make sure the pump (D) is completely submerged in water. The fountain is completely assembled as shown in Fig 2. In order to have best effect, the water level should be ¾ inch (2 cm) lower than brim of bottom basin. 4

Step 8: Plug the pump power cord to the wall outlet to run the fountain. Reverse the steps in the assembly instructions to replace the pump (D).

Be careful not to spill water onto the plug of the pump. DO NOT allow the pump to run dry!

TROUBLESHOOTING 1.

If your FOUNTAIN PUMP fails to operate please check the following: a) Make sure the pump is plugged into the socket properly. b) Check the water level in the fountain. Running the pump without sufficient water can damage the pump. c) Check the setting of the flow control on the pump. Check the pump outlet nozzle and PVC plastic tube for dirt and debris. Clean if necessary. d) Make sure the pump is connected to PVC plastic tube tightly. Check the fountain tubing for kinks and obstructions (refer to assembly step 5). e) The pump may be "air locked". Plug and unplug the pump several times to clear any air that may have been trapped.

2. If the water does not flow out of the fountain, it may be caused by kinked or loose PVC plastic tube, make sure PVC plastic tube is connected properly.
