School Closure Due to Bad Weather or Any Other Reason In the rare event of extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy snowfall) across the City, Birmingham City Council’s Education Department will announce that all schools are to be closed. This decision will be announced around 7.00am on Free Radio, Radio WM and Heart FM. Please listen to one of these radio stations when the weather seems particularly bad. There may be an occasion when the our school has to be closed for example, the school heating system breaking down or the playground being too treacherous because of the ice etc. The decision to close the school will be announced on the radio as stated above and the message will also be
