DAY 2, Thursday, December 11, 2014 Salt Lake City – Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert This morning, enjoy a tour of the city known as “The Crossroads of the West.” Settled by pioneers in 1847, Salt Lake City became a pivotal city for the settling and building of the western U.S.. Now a wonderful modern city in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West, Salt Lake City is a gateway to commerce, transportation, and outdoor recreation. Salt Lake City cemented its place as a world class winter sports destination when it hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 2002. You will visit all the main sites including the State Capitol, Temple Square, the Avenues, University of Utah, and This Is The Place Monument. Enjoy a little free time to relax in the afternoon. This evening, join the group for an amazing Holiday Experience. First, enjoy a special dinner at the

historic Lion House. Built in 1856 by Brigham Young, the home derives its name from the stone statue of the reclining lion over the front entrance. Enjoy home-style cooking in a historic setting, then take one more walk through the magnificent Christmas lights of Temple Square on your way to the Conference Center for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, and Bells on Temple Square, join with today’s brightest international singing stars to celebrate being home for the holidays. This inspiring concert manifests the message of the Christmas season—that Christ came to earth to bring peace and joy to all people. Recent guest artists have included English tenor Alfie Boe, Tom Brokaw, The King’s Singers, Jane Seymour, Nathan Gunn, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Natalie Cole, John Rhys-Davies, and many more. It will be an unforgettable evening filled with breathtaking music and Christmas spirit. Hilton City Center, Salt Lake City, UT (B,D)

DAY 3, Friday, December 12, 2014 Salt Lake City – A Christmas Carol This morning, enjoy touring of the Natural History Museum of Utah. In 2011 the museum moved into a stunning new building situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains overlooking Salt Lake City and inspired by the diverse landscape of Utah. For over four decades the Natural History Museum of Utah has connected Utah residents and tourists alike with the natural wonders and native cultures that define

Utah. As an active research institution, with a remarkable and growing collection of more than 1.2 million specimens and objects, the Museum is an extraordinary cultural and educational asset for understanding the world. Enjoy some free time in downtown SLC to do some Christmas shopping. With two wonderful shopping districts – The Gateway & City Creek Center – within walking distance of the hotel, you are sure to find what you are looking for. Tonight, join the group for dinner at a local restaurant followed by a wonderful production of A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater. This timeless classic has been a complete sell-out for over 30 years because of the masterful adaptation by Wilkins, Bradford's lush arrangements, glorious acting, singing, sets, and costumes, and because of the wondrous tale of forgiveness and redemption that rings with the true spirit of the Season. Hilton City Center, Salt Lake City, UT (B,D)
