FEBRUARY 2016 HOMECOMING: The Homecoming games will be Friday, February 5. The sophomore and varsity boys’ teams will play at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively. The presentation of the court and Miss and Mr. Illiana will be approximately 7:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults, and $3.00 for students. Season passes are not honored at homecoming.  THE PARENT-SPONSORED HOMECOMING DANCE will be held Saturday, February 6, 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Professional pictures will be taken at the dance from 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The cost of the dance is $5.00. Tickets for the dance will be on sale, during lunch time, the week prior to the dance. RE-ENROLLMENT DUE MARCH 15: Enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year begins in February! All enrollment will be done online through RenWeb. Counselors will be meeting with current freshmen, sophomores and juniors to review course options and distribute instructions. You will be notified via email when reenrollment and course requests are open. Enrollment and the $125.00 fee are due March 15. After March 15, a late fee of $25.00 will be added (not for new 9th grade students). NEW WEBSITE! Our website has a fresh new look. Tickets are $7.00 and will go on sale on February 29 and are $8. SPAGHETTI SUPPER FOR ILLIANA TO UGANDA (I2U) MISSION TRIP: On Saturday, March 12, students will be serving a delicious spaghetti supper between the two performances of Cinderella (from about 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.). The cost is a generous donation to the I2U trip.

“THE SHOW”: GO Club will be hosting “The Show” on March 13. The Show, an air band contest open to student participants, will start at 7:00 p.m. and parents are invited to attend. Admission to The Show is $3. All donations will be given to support the ministries of GO Club, which serves meals to Ronald McDonald House and with Night Ministries in Chicago. See you there! ICHS 2015 CROSS COUNTRY CAMP: Cross Country Camp at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, IN, from August 17-21. This includes five days of training and fun with around 70-80 high school athletes. A cost of $280 covers gas, meals, lodging, camp t-shirt, climbing wall, sled tubes, canoeing, paddle-boating, putt-putt golf, swimming, zip lines, ultimate Frisbee, dance activities, camp fires, a midnight run, two workouts a day and more! A $100 refundable deposit is due by Thursday, May 21, or earlier. The balance is due by Monday, July 27. EVENING FOR ILLIANA: Join us for “An Evening for Illiana” which is the fundraiser for Excellence in Education. It is hosted by Illiana Parents Involved in Education (P.I.E.) and will be on Tuesday, April 19. A hot beef sandwich dinner will be served from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Donations will be accepted at the door. This evening was created for family and friends of Illiana so you can have dinner and enjoy the Fine Arts Recital. Fine Arts projects will be on display in the gym and the Fine Arts recital will begin at 7p.m. in the dining hall.
