■■ Carefully cut out the template along the outside lines. ■■ Align the template with the left loom side. Use masking tape to hold it in place. ■■ Use a screw to poke a small hole through the template at the center of the x’s. Gently tap the screw with a hammer through the x’s to mark the hole placement. ■■ Work on the corner of a work table. Place the scrap wood under the loom side at the points to be drilled.
Do not work on a good table as it is possible to damage it when drilling. It is important to use the scrap wood
to prevent damage to the loom side when drilling. ■■ Use a 3/16" drill bit and drill straight down with firm pressure. Drill all the way through the loom side and into the scrap wood. ■■ Reverse the template and repeat for the right side.
ALL CRICKET LOOMS
