The CHATEAU of CHENONCEAU. Built in the 16th century, this is one of the purest early French Renaissance style works. Constructed on the foundations of an ancient fortified water mill in the river bed itself, the square main building forms the original chateau. On the “Pont de Diane” bridge stands the two-level gallery of Catherine de Medici. A stroll through the French gardens makes a pleasant end to your visit.
Visit on your own of the CHATEAU of CHAMBORD. More than four centuries after its construction, Chambord still defies the imagination: 156 metres of stone fadçades, 56 meters high, and 440 rooms.
Then, the CHATEAU of CHEVERNY. This chateau, which became the model for Marlinspike Hall in Hergé’s Adventures of Tintin will surprise you with the richness and diversity of its furniture, and the authentic charm and refined decoration of its rooms. Around 6:45 pm: Back to Tours.

Visit the CHATEAU of AMBOISE. This medieval fortress gave way to a royal residence during the reigns of King Charles VIII and François I during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The Court at Amboise was host to scholars and artists from around Europe, who came to stay at the invitation of the sovereign. One of these was no less than Leonardo da Vinci, whose tomb is to be found in the chapel. Then, visit the CHATEAU of CLOS LUCE - PARC LEONARDO DA VINCI in Amboise. The "Clos Lucé" is a Renaissance style manor house, where Leonardo de Vinci spent the last years of his life. You will discover freely the Leonardo da Vinci park in three stages. The chateau itself where you enter Leonardo’s privacy (his bedroom, study, a kitchen and beautiful Renaissance style rooms) and the exhibitions of 40 of his fabulous machines. Visit of the CHATEAU of AZAY-LE-RIDEAU. Built in the 16th century on an island in the middle of the river Indre in the most beautiful countryside, this chateau is one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture we have. Visit the gardens of the CHATEAU of VILLANDRY. Like a jewelery box, the fabulous gardens of Villandry surround one of the last great chateaux built on the banks of the Loire during the Renaissance (1536). Walk through one of the most beautiful gardens in France, constructed on three levels. Aroud 12:30: Back to Tours.
