Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School & Saxion University of Applied Sciences The Netherlands work together in an international collaborative business project for master students A group of Master students of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School visited Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, The Netherlands to finalize their international business research project. Students from MSU Business School and Saxion worked together, supported by the World Trade Center Twente and the Saxion Center for Entrepreneurship, to make a plan for the company NanoServe from Krasnodar to help them to become active on the EU market. NanoServe offers an innovative way of cleaning calcium deposits within boilers and pipes, in areas with hard water. The students first had to understand the innovative technique of the company, before they could be effective as consultants to advise the management of NanoServe to expand their operations further internationally. During three months, the students were divided into small expert teams, and researched the best possible strategy to do just that. During their visit to Enschede, all teams presented their findings and recommendations to NanoServe’s management. Besides working on their consultancy project, the students were also introduced to student life in Enschede and were offered several classes and workshops to deepen and broaden their knowledge about entrepreneurship, international business and coaching and mentoring. The students visited the Grolsch brewery in Enschede and gained a lot of insight in the marketing strategy and highly automated logistic processes of the firm. The students got a program and workshop in the high tech business incubator “The Gallery” of the “Kennispark Twente” (Business & Sciencepark Twente). Freerk Faber, director of the World Trade Center Twente explained the students about the goal of his organization and strategies to help its members to improve their international operations and develop international trade. Mr. Faber presented the students with a certificate of participation and for the successful defence of their projects.
