NEW! With metal rotor lid
Out of this world Centrifuges MiniSpin®/ MiniSpin® plus
They do exist after all: Real-life Personal Centrifuges Personal Centrifuges MiniSpin® and MiniSpin® plus The mystery has been solved: Real-life personal centrifuges of an out-of-this-world quality really do exist. Eppendorf, the world's number one for microcentrifuges, has entered a new dimension for personal centrifuges with its MiniSpin® and MiniSpin® plus models.
In detail: The maintenance-free drive of MiniSpin accelerates up to twelve 1.5/2.0 ml Eppendorf Tubes® to a maximum speed of 13,400 rpm (rcf: 12,100 x g) in the blink of an eye – and so quietly that you’ll hardly know it’s there.
The futuristic exterior is home to safe, reliable and durable technology, with Eppendorf having succeeded in implementing the customary high standards of large models in the most compact form possible. This is borne out by MiniSpin’s unique low running noise.
With its refined black rotor, MiniSpin plus can top even that, reaching a maximum speed of 14,500 rpm (rcf: 14,000 x g).
Both personal centrifuges are high-performance, easy-to-operate 12-position models which have been designed especially for research purposes and modernday training. The new ufo-like metal rotor lid allows the usage of almost all spin columns.
the arrow keys to select the run time and speed intuitively
As you would expect, MiniSpin and MiniSpin plus offer typical user friendliness à la Eppendorf, including automatic lid release, an easily comprehensible display for intuitive operation and a separate short-spin key for immediate runs. Users can choose their own speed in the short-spin mode of MiniSpin plus and set the built-in timer to 99 minutes or “continuous operation”.
The unique performance spectrum in this centrifuge category is a galaxy of its own: At long last, it is now possible to process samples rapidly and to carry out routine runs, such as pelleting precipitated DNA or RNA, at your own lab bench, with the minimum of time and effort. MiniSpin and MiniSpin plus: A new dimension and an out-of-this-world design: these new personal centrifuges are head and shoulders above the competition. In fact, they’re out of this world – they’re from Eppendorf.
