The Prodigy PC Software allows you to download your data to a PC.

Getting Started............................................................................3

With the Upload function, you can upload all test records currently in your Prodigy device to your PC. The Prodigy PC Software also has a Query function, that enables you to search through all records previously uploaded from your Prodigy device.

Uploading Data............................................................................4 Query and Report.........................................................................7

GETTING STARTED 1.

Download the Prodigy software from www.andatech. com.au or www.alcosense.com.au. Or, download it directly from http://resources.andatech.com.au/ software/prodigy-download-software.zip

2.

Completely extract the .zip file to your computer.

3.

Open the new folder "prodigy-download-software", and select and run the file named "AlcoSense Prodigy Data Download". The software should look the image on the right.

3

UPLOADING DATA FROM THE PRODIGY 1.

Connect your Prodigy breathalyser to your PC with a USB cable.

2.

Switch the Prodigy breathalyser 'on' by pressing the Power button on the device.

3.

On the Prodigy Software, click on Upload.

Click "Upload"

Click "USB CONNECT" 4.

4

On the next screen, click on "USB CONNECT".

5.

The "USB CONNECT" button will change to "USB DISCONNECT" and the Prodigy serial number information will show up in the software.

Check the Device Number

Check that the Device Number shown on the Prodigy Software matches the Serial Number of the Prodigy you connected to the PC.

Enter Record Numbers 6.

The "Max. Record" field will show the total number of tests that are currently saved on your Prodigy device. In this example, there are 48 total tests saved on the device. In "Start Record No.", enter the first test record you want uploaded to your PC, and in "No. Of Record", enter the number of test records you want to upload. Click on "Upload & Report" to start the upload.

5

Click "Upload & Report"

7.

The test records will show up on the software. At the same time, it will create an Upload Report in the Report folder in Excel format as "QVGA_[SerialNumber]. xls", e.g. if the device serial number is 13000166, then the Upload Report will be named "QVGA_13000166.xls". Check the Report folder to open the Upload Report for your device.

8.

Once the upload is finished, you can click on "USB DISCONNECT" and remove the device.

9.

To upload test records from another device, repeat from Step 1.

Note: It is recommended to always upload all records. The Query function is more accurate within a report with all records present. New Upload Reports will overwrite previous Upload Reports for the same device in the Report folder. To keep the previous Upload Reports for that device, rename or move them to a different folder before generating a new report. All previously uploaded data is available by running a query.

6

QUERY AND REPORT 1.

Click on "Query".

2.

Enter the Serial Number of the device that you want to search through.

3.

Enter the Start Date and End Date of test records.

4.

Click "Query and Report" to generate the report.

5.

The records will show up on the software. At the same time, it will create an Upload Report in the Report folder in Excel format as "query_QVGA_ [SerialNumber].xls", e.g. if the device serial number is 13000166, then the Upload Report will be named "query_QVGA_13000166.xls". Check the Report folder to open the Upload Report.

6.

To search the records from another device, repeat from Step 2.

Note: New Query Upload Reports will overwrite previous Upload Reports for the same device in the Report folder. Rename or move previous Upload Reports to a different folder to save them. 7
