Overview of Shannons Situated in an attractive, red brick corner public house in the busy Bordesley Green/Small Heath area of Birmingham, is the Shannons; a wet-led community pub business offering sports viewing and pub games. The pub has two separate bars with their own serveries and seating for 80 covers in total. To the rear is a walled yard which has recently been extended offering scope for BBQs during the summer and community events throughout the year. The Shannons offers a great opportunity for a committed retailer to market the site to the local population and to capitalise on the busy football crowds attending the nearby Birmingham City football ground.

Regional Manager's thoughts on Shannons This is a fantastic wet led pub with a great reputation, benefiting from a strong regular trade week in, week out with an influx of custom on match days, before and after the game. It is a pub for the true fans of Birmingham City and the team colours fly high in each room. Shannons is an excellent opportunity and would suit an experienced retailer looking to create a hub for the community by focusing on sports and local events. A new catering kitchen was implemented six months ago creating scope for increased revenue. Kate Allaway, Regional Manager

Indoor trading area The pub has two trade areas which are both very similar. There is a large bar area as you enter the pub, with traditional sports viewing and comfortable seating for approximately 50 covers; ideal for guests to watch their favourite game. To the rear is a small lounge area with a pool table, seating for approximately 30 covers and access to the rear beer garden. There is a corridor which runs between the two rooms and has couches providing further seating. Both rooms have their own servery, the larger one in the main bar. The large underground cellar is in very clean and tidy condition and there is a separate storage area for wines and spirits.

Outdoor trading area There is a walled yard to the rear offering a small area for smokers. This has been used for BBQs during the summer and as a bottle bar area for football match days.
