Sadler’s Wells: the Main Auditorium Playing host to some of the world’s greatest dance artists, our 1,500 seat auditorium is equipped with advanced theatre technology, ensuring unbeatable technical service – everything from computer controlled flying equipment and motorised acoustic panels to state of the art sound and lighting controls. Scenery and equipment are unloaded straight onto the stage through lorry-accessed dock doors. The performance area of the stage measures 15m x15m, giving ample room for spectacular presentations and impactful back projection.
Capacities During the daytime, the theatre is a modern meetings facility, playing host to some of the UK’s most prestigious businesses. Every seat gives an excellent view of the stage. The front 4 rows may be removed to form an orchestra pit. For smaller events, the second circle can be hidden from view, reducing the capacity to 1,000 or 600 seats. Our fantastic technical team – who work with some of theatre’s most demanding stars – will advise on the best possible use of our lighting, sound and AV equipment to give your presentation real stand-out.
