Ernie Lefler Ernie Lefler enlisted in the Navy in 1978 and served on long-range reconnaissance / surveillance P-3 Orion aircraft as an aviation electronics technician. In conjunction, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and later became a Commissioned Officer, serving as Tactical Coordinator and Mission Commander flying throughout the western Pacific, Persian Gulf, and European theaters. Ernie managed personnel and all facets of maintenance, training, quality assurance, mission planning, and physical security. After retirement, Ernie spent six years as an NJROTC instructor with Palm Beach County Schools, helping cadets focus on goal setting, selfdiscipline and self-esteem. Following this rewarding endeavor, he left to fulfill goals of his own, earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from FAU; becoming a Master Gardener; and launching Quantum Leap Enterprises -- a sustainable solutions company. A longtime surfer and conservationist, Ernie currently serves as Secretary for the Palm Beach Branch of the USGBC South Florida Chapter, and Corporate Engagement Chair for the Green Veterans Group.
